The hand woven Bolga basket are a highly sought after African basket. The basket are woven in the Bolgatanga region of Northern Ghana. Bolga basket are made from local kinkanhe grass before being finished off with a goat skin handle. Each Bolga basket is unique in its proportion, design and finish. The basket serve both a decorative and a functional purpose. Avoid storing your Bolga basket in the direct sunlight. To reshape, thoroughly wet the basket and reshape whilst wet. The basket should be dried in sunlight.
