The Bolga open basket are a sought after African basket. The basket are woven by hand in rural villages of the Bolgatanga region of Northern Ghana. Bolga open basket are made from local kinkanhe grass, colored with natural dyes and finished off with a goat skin handle. The basket serve both a decorative and a functional purpose.
