Handwoven Buhera basket are made in the Buhera district, Zimbabwe. The basket are woven using locally grown vines and plant fibre. Traditionally, the Buhera basket were used in villages to store and transport grain. Today, the Buhera basket add an organic element to a home, whether used decoratively or functionally. Due to their natural material used and the basket being individually handwoven, no two baskets will be identical in shape or size.
