The exfoliating mitt are handmade using 100% natural Jute twine. The twine has a slightly rough texture which offers a gentle skin exfoliation or perfect for cleaning root vegetables. Jute is a vegetable fibre similar to hemp or flax. Jute is used to produce coarse fabrics like hessian and burlap. It is biodegradable and generally a rough, robust fibre.
