Kuba cushion are made using a hand woven fibre fabric or Kuba cloth. The cloth is made from raffia which is derived from the leaves of a palm. The cloth is renowned for its narrow width, natural tones and geometric designs. Kuba cloth is traditional to the Bakuba community of the Democratic Republic of Congo in West Africa. Authentic Kuba cushion will add a textured element to any decor scheme.
