The Ndebele neck hoop are made in KwaNdebele, South Africa. The neck hoop are made in the traditional way. Grass is coiled and bound with cotton fabric before being intricately beaded in the iconic Ndebele geometric design. The neck hoop have been worn by married woman for generations during ceremonial occasions.
