The traditional wooden pestle make a unique decor piece. The wooden pestle were traditionally used by woman to pound grain and seeds in rural homesteads. Small mills now replace this manual method in many African communities. The hand carved wooden pestle each display its own unique markings and character. Hang the pestle on the wall or use as a towel rack, alternatively place it in the corner of the room to create interest.
